I know you guys were just DYING to see my sum-up of the Auburn vs. LSU game, but we were recently sick (everybody except Ben - that's always how it works!) so it's taken me some time to get the pictures up. What was really cool about this game is that ESPN's Gameday came to cover it here at the campus. We were too lazy to go on Saturday morning so we decided to go the night before and get some pictures.

This is probably as close to celebrity as we'll get! Maybe if they come again we'll brave the crowds for some cooler pictures.

After checking out the set we went on a walk with the kids around the football stadium.

Down - Set - Hike

We had another fun tailgating party with our church group.

This picture cracks me up because we were sitting with all of the girls from the young single adults in the branch and Lexi was showing off how lady-like she can be.

Ben was helping to park cars on game day for the Habitat for Humanity - it was a service project that the student branch was participating in. It required him to stay up on campus by the tailgating party until after the game started. The kids and I left the tailgating earlier so that we could get home at a decent time. Well, Ben was well-rewarded for his service - as him and Leon (a guy from our branch) were walking back home somebody who had tickets stopped them and asked them if they wanted tickets to the game. Because the game had already started, they got 2 tickets for $55 in a non-student section (which means they were able to sit and didn't have to stand the entire time). The going rate for tickets that were in the student section (which are terrible seats) were $100-$150 a piece. He had a great time at the game and it was fun for him to go with Leon because then they could talk "football" during the game. Not that I can't do that, I just don't really prefer to do that! Moral of the story: Volunteer and you'll be blessed!

Sounds like he had such a blast. Nate loves the colors; he's such an orange fan. Did Auburn win by the way?
