Grandma & Grandpa

We had so much fun this past week! Grandma and Grandpa Puffer came out to visit us from Oregon. The kids had been looking forward to this for weeks and could hardly wait for them to come. We had fun showing them around campus and the rest of the town. Grandma and Grandpa went to lunch with Lexi at her school and also went on a little tour of Sam's preschool. Lexi and Sam loved showing off their schools, but what I think the kids loved more than anything was playing outside in the backyard with Grandma and Grandpa. We can't wait for their next vacation here - this one was way too short! Here's Mom and Dad Puffer at the infamous "Toomer's Corner." If you're not from Auburn that means nothing to you. Every time Auburn wins a football game, they celebrate by toilet papering this intersection and a bunch of trees (consequently this corner has been toilet paper free for quite some time).

Although you can't tell from Dayne's expression, he loved having 2 more people to lavish him with attention.

Sam showed Grandma and Grandpa his stomping grounds at his preschool. He showed them all the games that he plays and introduced his grandparents to his teacher. My mother-in-law had a great time talking to the teacher about the program that they have there (she was an elementary school teacher and used to run a preschool).

How fun to have Grandma and Grandpa come to visit. I'll bet the kids were thrilled.
